About

Established in September 2008, the Tri-Institutional Collaboration Network [TCN] serves the research communities of Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK), The Rockefeller University (RU), and Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM). Committed to invigorating collaborative efforts, engaging faculty through training, enhancing research support expertise across the partner institutions, and increasing the sharing of core resources, the TCN also offers broad networking and communication capabilities. By pulling together resources and streamlining efforts, the TCN working team is building an integrated framework to meet existing and emerging research needs, with three target audiences in mind:

  • Researchers (tenured/nontenured faculty, fellows, post/predoctoral and research associates, etc.)
  • Research administrators in departments and laboratories
  • Central research offices
TCN activities include workshops and seminars by sponsors' representatives, policy makers, institutional officials, faculty members and other experts and stakeholders, on topics such as seeking increased research support and venues for new and more effective collaborations, grant writing, E-tools for better research management for faculty and administrators, understanding and navigating review processes, compliance matters, general research funding trends, and more, as driven by participants' needs and new directions.
